CAMEO Canada Analysis in Detail
Built using the latest Canadian Census of the population at dissemination block level and delivered by 6 digit postcode for appending to customer databases.
Provides additional variables which can be appended to your customer or prospect database for advanced modelling and segmentation:
Variable | Description |
|---|
Presence of Children | Low score shows an area with a low percentage of children and a higher score shows an increasing presence of children. |
Presence of people age 20 and over | Low score indicates a relatively young population compared to the national average, and a high score indicates an ageing population. |
Family size | Low score shows an area containing a high proportion of smaller families of 2 people and a higher score shows an increasing household size, with the highest scores representing households of more than 4 people. |
Property Type | Low score represents an area of almost exclusively detached properties and a high score represents an area of high density flats and apartments. As the factor score increases from the minimum, the proportion of semi-detached housing increases, followed by an increase in row housing. |
Income | Low score shows an area containing a high proportion of households earning a low income, (under C$20k) and a higher score representing those on a higher income (over C$40k). |
- These scores are ideal for a number of applications such as building statistical models and target selections.
- Factor scores are also available grouped in to ten equal 10% deciles where the lowest factor score equates to decile 1, increasing up to the highest score falling in decile 10.
